The Society organises an annual photographic exhibition which is displayed at the Armidale Folk Museum.  This may be in conjunction with the New South Wales History Week activity or of a topic decided by the Society.  The Society is very appreciative of the advice and resources that the University of New England Regional Archives and Heritage Centre and the Armidale Folk Museum are able to provide for the displays.

In November, the Society organises an annual excursion to places of historical importance in and around the district.  Past excursions have included visits to Bendemeer and several historic properties, Bundarra and its historical buildings and Uralla.  Visitors are especially welcome to join us on the excursions.
